let’s do a weird headcanon thing.

WHAT THEY SMELL LIKE. surprisingly enough, quill usually smells good. cray-cray, right? while the milano is usually a bit of a pigsty, he usually takes very good care of himself hygienically. with most of his plans revolving around other people liking him, or generally finding him disarming, he’s made sure to keep himself smelling better than pretty much everyone else in the ravagers. which, admittedly, isn’t difficult since they all usually reek to high heaven. despite him not really  being in the business of ripping people off much anymore, it’s become a routine he keeps. that said, he frequents products that smell like rosewood. 

HOW THEY SLEEP ( sleeping position, schedule, etc ). peter snores & drools when he’s alone. somehow, he manages to be a bit more tidy when he’s sleeping with another person in the bed. that said, he constantly shifts body positions from laying on his back, to his side, to his stomach but something that is almost always a constant is that he sleeps on an arm. he’s also a pillow hoarder – one between the legs, one under the arm he’s laying on & one on top of the arm. 

WHAT MUSIC THEY ENJOY. Quill likes a whole variety of music. A diverse taste came not only from his mother, but the time he’s spent in the cosmos. 

HOW MUCH TIME THEY SPEND EVERY MORNING GETTING READY. Quick & efficient. He’s been told by people like Yondu that he does as much as a woman does in a quarter of the time. He likes to keep a slightly rugged look about him, though.

FAVORITE THING TO COLLECT. thingamajigs. yondu actually picked up his little collecting hobbies from quill, since he’d always come back from missions with various things he’d like to keep. the biggest thing for him is memorabilia  – anything that has some kind of importance to him. 

LEFT OR RIGHT HANDED: ambidextrous, but doesn’t really know it. mostly, he uses his right hand for things but unwittingly ends up using his left hand for things, too.

RELIGION (if any). former christian, now undecided. having struggled with faith throughout his childhood due to his absentee father & his mother’s cancer, it was already a fragile thing. enter space & all the shit going on out there? but hey, it’d be an interesting question to ask him one of these days …. 

FAVORITE SPORT(S). he doesn’t follow sports at all. still, he enjoys watching them when he’s in the right environment. that said, he doesn’t have a favorite.

FAVORITE TOURISTY THING TO DO WHEN TRAVELING. consuming new things, easily. a close second is flirting with the locals, if that counts. he uses being “from out of town” as a conversation starter, loading that fact with a bunch of bullshit.

FAVORITE KIND OF WEATHER. most of my muses enjoy cold, rainy nights. that’s definitely reflecting the mun a bit, but peter is different. he likes summer nights with a slight breeze, under a starry sky like a big dweeb. he does have an enjoyment for the rain, too, but he prefers the warm over the cold ultimately. 

WEIRD/OBSCURE FEAR THEY HAVE. a fear of becoming dependent on another

THE CARNIVAL/ARCADE GAME THEY ALWAYS WIN WITHOUT FAIL. that whole watergun game. he gets all the prizes, lets be real.
